I know, I know, 2014 has been over for almost a week, but I've been sick so give me a break! If you're like me, you have a ton of gift cards and no clue what to buy. I've been religiously watching and reading everyone's best of 2014 products to give me ideas of what to buy! Here is my list of favorite beauty products. Keep watch for the rest of my random favorites! Ta-ta my loves. xx
Foundation: Currently still looking. Leave some tips below!
Concealear: It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye
Literally, take your concealers and throw it away. This is hands down, the best product I have ever used. You have terrible underage circle like me? Yes, the bags under my eye are designer but I don't want to wear them with every outfit. This goes on thick and creamy and blends away into pure flawlessness. Going to repurchase NOW.
Powder: Currently still looking. Leave some tips below!
Blush: Be A Bombshell Sweet Cheeks Blush
Let me be honest, I was not a fan of first. On sight, this blush looks too hot pink to be flattering but once you put it on, it gives the most flattering and brightening hint of pink on the skin. It is highly pigmented, so be careful.
Bronzer: NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder in Sunny
Okay, yes, I know, I am a basic bitch. Literally every beauty guru raves about this bronzer, but it's for a reason! This does give a healthy sun glow without looking too orange. This would go perfect on every skin tone. I hate bronzers with shimmer (what is the point), so this gives me a tan and a contour. So let me sit back in my Uggs and sip on some Starbucks and look tan as hell with this product!
Highlighter: Benefit Watt's Up
What's up! Woo! Come on, I had to do that joke. I have been in love with this highlighter for as long as I can remember. I put this in my inner eye to make me look less dead and on my cupid's bow to look like Kim Kardashian. This is a gorgeous creamy champagne shimmer.
Eyeliner: Wet' N' Wild Mega Liner
Shout out to Kreayshawn for this eyeliner tip. I rarely stray from my eyeliner choice because this is my god. Besides the fact that this is insanely cheap, it dries a very strong black and the tiny tip gives me an accurate wing. Love, love, love.
Eyeshadow: Naked Basics Palette
If you haven't caught the pattern by now, I am a basic white girl. I promise I'm cool though! This palette has the perfect and matte (most importantly) shades in it. I can do a neutral day time look or amp it up at night with the beautiful black shade. Once again, Uggs, Starbucks, repeat.
Mascara: Too Faced Better Than Sex VS Urban Decay Perversion
This was the year of the mascaras, especially the ones with the naughty names. I was such a lover of Benefit's They're Real but damn, these are good. Both of these make my eyelashes extremely black, thick and long. Oh god, a naughty image came to mind.
Eyebrow: Anastasia Dip Brow
Wow, surprise, surprise. Hey guys, come on. This stuff is not basic, just amazing! Brow game is the most important thing in the world so this is a holy grail product. It gives me the most opportunity to draw on and define my eyebrows (but in a good way) and since it's waterproof, my eyebrows stay on all day. Damn my mother and her oily skin genes. (Just kidding, love you mom). Thank you to Anastasia for keeping my brows on fleek. Yes, I am that hip.
Lip Liner: MAC Whirl VS Make Up For Ever Aqua Lip 3C VS NYX lip crayon in Natural VS Milani Nude
Guys. Seriously. Who didn't want Kylie Jenner lips this year. All 4 of these did the trick, I just can't pick one. The MAC one and Make Up Forever one especially gave me those plumpers.
Lip Stick: Make Up Forever Aqua Rouge in 3
Once again, matte over drawn lips were IT this year. As if, I need my lips to be bigger. This is from the 50 Shades of Grey inspired line from Make Up Forever, and let me just tell you, this is not innocent. This is a beautiful long lasting dark nude color.
Oil: BioOil
I am a big believer in face oils. It makes my oily skin less oily, and I wake up soft and with a suddenly clearer face. Like thank you guys, keep making my face good.
